This year's new Xtra Factor host, Olly Murs has predicted friction between new judges Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos when the live shows air later this year. The former X Factor reckons the former girl group members would end up fighting over the contestants in their categories.
Olly, who now hosts the ITV2 spin-off alongside Caroline Flack, admitted that Tulisa and Kelly are closer than Dannii and Cheryl ever were - but warned it could get nasty.]
"It could get a bit heated," he told The Sun today. "Kelly is very strong - and is likely to say, 'I want my team to win', And Tulisa's going to be like, 'You'd better watch it!'"
And Olly also thinks viewers may be surprised by Gary Barlow's quick witted comments on the show.
He told the newspaper: "Gary has always been about the music and hasn't been on lots of TV shows. But what a great personality he's got - fantastic banter and such a dry sense of humour.
"One contestant sang Beyonce's song Irreplaceable with the lyrics 'to the left, to the left' and Gary went, 'Yeah, we were hoping you'd keep going to the left because it was that bad'.
"The whole place erupted with laughter."
Meanwhile the singer confessed he was still getting used to being a presenter on the show, less than two years after stepping out on stage to audition himself.
He said: "It brings you back to reality to see how quick it can be a 'No' on stage and how quickly dreams are shattered - and how amazing it is when they get a 'Yes'."
The Xtra Factor returns to ITV2 next month.
