X Factor brat Chery Lloyd has said she's excited about the release of her debut album this October, but couldn't help but get herself in more hot water as she took a swipe a popstars who didn't write their own music. The 17-year-old suggested it was pointless to sing and not write music.
Speaking to We Love Pop magazine this week, the youngster said: "I'm super excited about the album. I got to work with various sounds and producers and I think there is somebody on there to suit everybody."
The record, due out later this year, will feature the work of Kevin Rudolf (The Black Eyed Peas), X Factor vocal coach Savan Kotecha (Britney, JLS, Alexandra Burke) and Lady GaGa hitmaker Red one.
The first track from the album, Swagger Jagger, will be released on July 31.
Talking about writing tracks for her album, Cher said: "It's a big pat of being an artist.
"If you can't sit with someone and write your own tracks, what's the point of doing it?"
Frankly if the end result is Swagger Jagger we're not entirely sure what the point of doing it is either.
And of course this comes after Cher Lloyd was exposed on the show last year for pinching someone else's rap lyrics at last year's bootcamp. The youngster had performed Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida' with her "own little twist", however it was later revealed the singer's version was actually pinched from a YouTube video.
We reckon Tulisa would have more than a few words to say about that.
