Cheryl Cole's special pal Kimberley Walsh has revealed that she gets scared by the press hounding Chezza, even following her over the Atlantic to LA. Speaking to the Daily Star, the protective Girls Aloud singer said the attitude of paps in the states 'terrified' her.

The couple recently jetted off to the US for a "girls getaway" following Cheryl's axe from American The X Factor, spending their time partying, getting drunk and enjoying Sushi with Cheryl's ex, Derek Hough.

But far from enjoying their time away, Kimberley says: "It made me realise what it is like for her. I get scared for her in the madness."

She continued: "It was wonderful to go and chill out completely. We had a bit of a dance and discovered coffee-flavoured Patron Tequila. It makes you a nice happy drunk so it was our girls’ holiday drink of choice.

"The only thing missing was a bit of shopping but it became far too hard to organise as Cheryl gets hounded out there by the paparazzi."

Kimberley, the new face of Puma, added: "It was absolutely terrifying."

We told yesterday how the pair spent their holiday flirting and having a 'chav off'.
