A reject from the Netherlands version of The X Factor stunned in the panel at auditions in Liverpool this week - with new X Factor judge Tulisa Constavlos saying that the Dutch were 'too high' on 'bad substances' to see the hopeful's huge talents and true potential.
18-year-old Luigiano Paals tried out during the auditions held at Liverpool's Echo Arena on Thursday.
Part of a family of 7, Luigiano told the panel - Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Tulisa Contostavlos and Kelly Rowland - how he had lived Holland for four years and tried out for their version of the show.
TellyMix can reveal how Luigiano had made the live finals of the 2009 version of the Dutch version of the hit reality talent show aged just 16. Unfortunately for Luigiano he found himself repeatedly in the bottom two and was eventually given the boot in Week 6.
Asked what he did as a living his audition here in the UK, the cheeky teenager replied: "I don't work, I'm 18."
Luigiano told the panel that he failed in the Netherland version of the reality show because they didn't get him. "They don't really understand me... they think the more normal the better and I can't be normal sorry."
After his performance of Kris Allen's 'Ain't No Sunshine', the audience were on their feet and the judges' taken aback.
"I was not expecting that!" Kelly raved, "Oh my gosh! Who said to no you?! I'm so happy you came here!"
Tulisa told him: "Do you know why they don't understand you in Amsterdam? Because they're all high! It's those naughty substances are effecting their judgement."
The N-Dubz star incorrectly added: "I'm literally speechless."
Louis said: "You're like a little
Lenny Henry star!"
The X Factor 2011 returns next month to ITV1.
