We thought we'd never be hearing from Danyl Johnson again, unless Popstar to Operastar some gets a third series - but he's proved us wrong. The former X Factor finalists has reportedly scooped a big management deal which will see him work with some of the world's top writers and producers.
The teacher, who finished fourth in the show back in 2009, is set to make his 'big comeback', although where he's planning on coming back to we're not sure.
According to The Sun today, Danyl has been busy working with songwriting ace Diane Warren - who has won Grammy and Golden Globe awards for penning tracks including I Don't Want To Miss A Thing and Rhythm Of The Night.
A source told the newspaper: "Danyl's management have got him working with decent names.
"They are going to try to get him a US deal before cracking the UK.
"Some US labels have seen his first X Factor audition in promotional material for the American version and they were impressed."
