Birthday girl Tulisa Contostavlos has told new! magazine this week that she plans on taking the X Factor hopefuls in her category to her nan's house in Greece for the judges' houses stages. The new X Factor judge, who turned 23 yesterday, added that Cheryl Cole has been on hand to help her out!
Previously locations for the judges' houses stage of the competition, which see the panellists whittle the acts in their category down to the finalists for the live shows, have included Los Angeles, St Tropez and Sydney.
Speaking about where she was planning to taking her contestants too next month, Tulisa said: "I’ve not decided for certain, but I’ve suggested my granny’s house in Greece."
But who will be helping her out in making her choices? Fortunately bandmate Dappy and rapper pal Tinchy Stryder have already offered their expert services to the N-Dubz star.
“We would love to help Tulisa pick her X Factor finalists," the pair previously said. "We’d tell people like it is and wouldn’t go softly, softly.
They added: "We are proud of Tulisa Contostavlos becoming a judge on The X Factor. N-Dubz came from nothing, and she is good enough for that big show which means we are good. N-Dubz have made it, yeah!"
Meanwhile Tulisa also revealed that her predecessor Cheryl Cole had been in touch to tell she was on hand if there was ever any trouble with the show - and knowing Simon Cowell there probably will be sooner or later!
Tulisa laughed: “I keep having to pinch myself to remember I’m here. I can’t believe it. Cheryl Cole has said to call if I have any problems.”
We just hope Tulisa introduces her groups to the wonders of gyros...
