Boy group The Wanted - which includes X Factor reject Tom Parker - have praised new judge Tulisa Contostavlos, saying the N-Dubz singer is a "good role model" for youngsters. The band however weren't as kind to Louis Walsh, saying this year's show would've been better without him on the panel!
The group made their comments after Tulisa was booed by the crowd wanting Cheryl Cole back during auditions last month. The new judge's time on the panel hasn't been easy recently, with one wannabe calling her a "scumbag in London last week.
But The Wanted's Jay McGuiness said Tulisa would be a "great judge" when the ITV1 reality series returns to telly next month.
"I know she's got a reputation as a hard a**e but she'll be a good role model for youngsters," he said. "People cast her as a chav but she's got manners and standards."
The singer admitted to being "embarrassed" for Cheryl Cole after getting the axe from The X Factor USA back in May, adding that Louis should've gone from the UK panel!
He explained: "I'm embarrassed for Cheryl with what happened on the American X Factor and then not coming back to the British one. But now they've got Tulisa, Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland, it feels like Louis has been there for so long.
"It would have been fresher with a whole new line-up."
Jay however admitted: "But he does know his pop."
The group release new single Glad You Came tomorrow.
