Cheryl Cole reportedly "broke down crying" in an emotional chat with X Factor boss Simon Cowell following her axe from the US show. According to heat, the pair spoke for the first time this week since the drama started some 40 odd days ago, with Cheryl apologetic about the situation.
It is understood that Cheryl was seen by US bosses as “uncomfortable” on the American show, and was given an opportunity to bow out and return to the UK version. However Cole’s new greedy new management team wanted way more than ITV were prepared to pay, resulting in them instead hiring new judge Tulisa Contostavlos. As a result Cole was left with no job on either show and humiliation from the press.
"Cheryl and Simon had a long conversation and they’ve agreed to patch things up," a friend of Cheryl's told the magazine this week. "Simon had texted Cheryl numerous times with no reply and Cheryl finally called him and broke down about everything that had happened.
"She admitted that she was very bitter and took a lot of it out on him. It was a very emotional chat, and at one point she just broke down crying and even apologised for all the embarrassment it had caused."
The friend continued: "She said that not having him in her life wasn't an option, and she missed his constant companionship and advice.
"Simon explained how he did everything he possibly could to get her back on the show. He said he had found it difficult to go back on the panel without her and told Cheryl he'd do everything he can to make it up to her - including giving her the chance t perform and be a guest mentor on the US X Factor."
Looks like Cheryl make crack the states after all then...
