The X Factor and drama are never too far away, whether it's a case of sacked judges, contestants with record deals or even girl groups splitting up during their audition (more on that last one when the series airs!). This year however saw some different and rather lovely!
Our X Factor spies have informed us that earlier this month, one audience member found themselves auditioning for the show in Glasgow - and looking set to get four yeses to make it through to bootcamp.
A source explained to us: "In Birmingham the warm up act asked if anyone wanted to sing whilst the camera crews were resetting. One person did and they the judges and audience were really impressed.
"The producers loved it so much, the audience member was invited back to try out for real in Glasgow. It was a genuine case of hidden and undiscovered talent."
The source added: "The judges seemed keen when the audience member returned with a fully rehearsed performance for them."
But was it enough to turn them from an audience member to potential finalist?
Meanwhile new X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos found herself getting emotional when discussing her life as a teenager caring after her mum during the show. The 22-year-old sympathised with an auditionee who had been unable to make a career out of her talents because of her commitments to caring for her disabled mother.
Tulisa, who previously presented a BBC Three documentary on her own experiences, told her: "You just got for it. I know sometimes you just want to get away from it all".
