Okay, we're getting a little ahead of ourselves we know, but still it looks as though Gary Barlow is set to make an impressive debut on the show this August - and has already been tipped to become the winning mentor. Bookies Paddy Power have made the Take That star their 6/4 favourite to be this year's winning judge.
X Factor veteran Louis Walsh is next up at 11/4, along with new panellist and N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos. Kelly Rowland meanwhile is a bit further back at 3/1. The judges will reunite tomorrow for the latest round of auditions in Cardiff.
Meanwhile the bookies tip the boys category to win the show again (although both us and the judges disagree with that at the moment), with odds of 13/8. The girls aren't too far behind at 15/8 but the groups are set to lose out again unfortunately with odds of 5/1 to win. However with still half the auditions to go, there's still time for a good group to wow the judges!
Bookies William Hill are also offering odds on the first night's viewing figures, with a peak audience of below 12.5 million currently at 8/11. The series will be looking to beat last year's show, which averaged an astonishing 14 million viewers and peaked with over 19 million during the final.
While we don't think the show will be able to reach those heights with the audience needing to get used to a new panel, it'll be a close fight for ITV1 to beat the Royal Wedding, which currently tops the most watched programmes of the year with around 13.7 million viewers on BBC One.
The X Factor 2011 returns to ITV1 in August.
