Friends and family of X Factor boss Simon Cowell have reportedly expressed concern that his massive work load could be stressing him out too much. The telly legend is currently overseeing both The X Factor here in the UK and USA, as well as his new ITV1 game show Red or Black?
As well as trying to live up to the hype of The X Factor in the states, where it'll be going up against reality giants American Idol and The Voice, Cowell is also in charge of the new X Factor panel here in the UK, despite not taking part in the show on screen.
And things aren't going too well for the music mogul.
Last week we reported how Tulisa was booed on the show, with chants for Cheryl Cole to return. Meanwhile in the states there's been chaos with Cheryl getting the chop and being replaced by Nicole Scherzinger, originally due to host the show.
"Simon was stunned at the reaction he got over Cheryl, but he's more concerned about the effect it will have on his empire and TV shows," a source told Reveal magazine.
But a pal said: "Simon's mum is freaking out. His family thinks he's doing too much and are telling him to slow down before his huge workload seriously damages his health.
"There's not point being the richest man in the cemetery. It's too much for one person. Simon needs to take some time out and relax."
