Girls Aloud fans hoping that Cheryl Cole's axe from The X Factor USA would mean a reunion with the group will be disappointed today as it's claimed: Cheryl Cole is quitting the UK. According to the Daily Star, Geordie singer Cheryl is fleeing to the states; the country that shunned her last month.
The newspaper claims that the former X Factor judge has already moved out of her £3.1 million North London mansion, with the house already up for sale on the internet.
A source said: “The property was already online before she handed over the keys."
Meanwhile it's been revealed that Nicole will be back on the UK X Factor later this year to plug her new single on the live shows. She told the paper in an exclusive interview: “I have to come back here and perform at a live show – this is where I got my love when I was a guest judge last year.
“I was embraced by fans so I have to make sure I am able to return and sing for you guys.”
And on the new X Factor USA panel, Nicole added: "We’ve been having a really good time together – it’s been so much fun, the judges get on really well.”
An insider revealed that Cheryl Cole was "devastated" by the moving, saying: "It was one thing for Nicole to replace Cheryl on the American X Factor but to have her appearing on the show here as well will annoy her big time.
“Cheryl will feel it’s a bit like Nicole is dancing on her grave – on both sides of the Atlantic.”
The X Factor USA auditions continue next week in Dallas.
