The X Factor 2011 auditions conclude their stay in Manchester with a bang!

It was the last day of auditions in Manchester yesterday and they went out with one hell of bang, with many acts that in our view what could all possibly make the live shows. As always we're not going to reveal everything that went on at EventCity, but here a few teasers from the final day...

We've already raved about one act, who we reckon could well be a potential winner, but she was just one of many stand outs in a day full of talent.

Another act, who had travelled from the US to audition, wowed the audience with her vocal control as she effortlessly hit the high notes of 'Loving You' without even trying. Gary Barlow gushed: "That was absolutely magnificent, absolutely superb" while Louis said she was a "world class act".

The judges were up early for the final day, with the first round of auditions staring at 9AM due to Gary Barlow's Take That concert in Wales yesterday evening. Arriving for the last time at the Trafford Centre's EventCity arena, Tulisa and Kelly both showed off their figures with tight flirty frocks.

Louis Walsh meanwhile decided to wear his blue shirt.

Back to the auditions and one wannabe took a big risk as they tackled Kelly Rowland's duet with Tinie Tempah by singing 'Invincible', while a French teacher had the crowd singing along to Whitney Houston's Million Dollar Bill.

The judges however were not to be messed around, with one act being blasted by the panel for being over confident and cocky after saying she "deserved" to audition for them.

Groups auditioning including duo Section 2, so called because - to quote them: "We used to work in mental health". The gay couple revealed they met via Facebook, "I poked him and poked me back," one said. "And we've been poking each other ever since," the other added.

The X Factor 2011 auditions continue in Cardiff on June 29.
