Despite reports suggesting that 12-year-old Ronan Parke has already been snapped by up Simon Cowell's Syco label, Britain's Got Talent winner Jai McDowall has still not signed a record deal. According to the Daily Star, the Scottish singer is still waiting to meet Simon.
The 24-year-old told the newspaper: "Simon spoke to me after the final but said he is very busy with American X Factor at the moment. After the tour I will hopefully sit down with him and discuss what is going to happen."
Despite not signing a record deal yet however, Jai has already taken away a £100,000 prize and will perform for the Queen at the Royal Variety Show in December.
Other classical musical stars found on the show, including Series 1 winner Paul Potts and Series 3 runner up Susan Boyle, have been signed within days of the show ending.
A Syco rep said: "No decision's been made yet."
Simon Cowell previously said: "I think we could do something with Ronan and Jai. We would have to look at what else we have on because we’re doing a lot with people like JLS. But I think people like them.”
Jai and Ronan will be taking part in the Britain's Got Talent tour which starts tonight in Newcastle.
