JLS member Ortise Williams says The X Factor won't be the same without Simon Cowell

JLS member Oritse Williams has said that he doesn't believe that The X Factor will be the same with Simon Cowell, but praised the new line up as "fantastic. Speaking to BANG Showbiz this week, Ortise added he felt the series should be revamped every year!

The X Factor 2011 will see three new judges, with Take That star Gary Barlow, US singer Kelly Rowland and N-Dubz lead singer Tulisa Contostavlos all joining Louis Walsh on the show.

“The line-up is fantastic and it’s always going to be a big show on ITV if it’s got Simon Cowell behind it," Ortise said. "It won’t be the same without him on the panel, though.

“There definitely needed to be some fresh faces in there and I really think they should re-vamp it every year. I’ve always said Gary Barlow should be an ‘X Factor’ judge, and it’s nice to get an American judge in there.”

The 'Everybody In Love' singer joked: “I think they should do a JLS rota system, I’ll do one week, Marvin can do another, JB can do one and then Aston can do one.”

Meanwhile the former X Factor runner up said he felt "strong" Cheryl Cole would be back on her feet very soon.

“I feel for Cheryl but she’s a strong girl and she’ll come back to the UK and be welcomed back with open arms," he said. "She’ll be fine.”

JLS' latest single 'She Makes Me Wanna' is out in July.
