Cheryl Cole has reportedly had enough of Simon Cowell's antics on The X Factor, telling pals her relationship with the music mogul is over! According to The Sun this morning, Cole revealed to friends she was annoyed by comments Cowell had made yesterday.
We told yesterday how Simon had claimed he was "protecting" Cheryl by removing her from the US show. "The hardest thing to accept is that everyone has painted me as a monster because I embarrassed her, but the truth was I was protecting her," he said. "I just want people to be in the best place at the right time.”
However today Cheryl Cole admitted: "Our relationship is over. I'm through with him."
The Sun says that Cole told a pal: "If he thinks we are going to be friends he can forget it."
The friend blabbed to the tabloid: "If Simon thinks he can claim it was a business arrangement that went wrong, he is insane. She wasn't uncomfortable on the show. She was enjoying herself. No one complained at the time.
"Simon admits he got his top producer Richard Holloway to tell her she was off the US show - that's because he was afraid to do it himself.
"Cheryl trusted him implicitly and she doesn't do that with many people. He made a mockery of their friendship so now it's dead in the water."
Simon Cowell previously blamed Cheryl Cole's manager Will.i.am for the mess behind the show, saying he refused to call or discuss an offer for Cheryl to return to the show.
