Britain's Got Talent 2011 finalist Les Gibson has said that he's been working on new characters for tonight's final show. The impressionist, who has wowed the panel with his takes on Ant and Dec, Lord Sugar and Corrie's Kevin Webster, promised new material tonight.

The 41-year-old comic, who will complete against Michael Collings, Razy Gogonea, Jai McDowall, Steven Hall, James Hoble, New Bounce, Jean Martyn, Ronan Parke and Paul Gbegbaje in tonight's final, said he had a tough task ahead of him.

“It’s really tough when you only have one minute, 50 seconds to win over the audience. And I was nervous. But if you’re not nervous performing for Simon Cowell there’s something wrong. I had really prepared, though, and was practising all the time," he told The Sun about performing in the semi final.

Talking about the final, Les explained: “Now I’ve got some new characters that I’ve been working on for Saturday. I’m always trying out new stuff at home, where my judges are incredibly tough.”

He added: “It’s surreal being at this stage of Britain’s Got Talent. You don’t really sleep because your mind is racing. I’ve got loads of support, I had 75 texts just after the semi-final.

“I would love to win – it would be fantastic and give my family security.”

The Britain’s Got Talent 2011 final airs tonight at 7PM on ITV1.
