Razy Gogonea and Michael Collings became the final two acts through to the Britain's Got Talent 2011 live final tonight. Razy Gogonea went through automatically after topping the public vote following his performance which received a standing ovation from Amanda Holden. Meanwhile Michael Collings beat off Pip & Puppy in the judges' vote.
As the next two highest voted for acts behind Razy Gogonea, it was up to Amanda, Simon, David and Michael to decide which would go through.
Asked first for his choice, Simon Cowell said: “Can’t we have them both? I’d like to see them both back. Okay... I will, and genuinely ant both back, I’m going to go with the one I believe the public want to see in and that is Michael”
Amanda commented: I loved you both but I’m going to go with Michael
Michael added: “It’s.. obviously very, very difficult but I can’t see a final without Michael in it.”
Despite the result already being decided, asked for his opinion, David said: “Clean sweep! Michael all the way!”
Pippa told hosts Ant and Dec after the result: “It’s been incredible, thank you so much for everybody that’s voted. Thank you for all of you for giving me this time on the stage.”
Meanwhile Michael Collings told the pair: “I feel absolutely amazing, I couldn’t see myself into the final. I was happy just getting here tonight, but to be in the final is unbelievable.”
Michael and Razy join Jai McDowall, Steven Hall, Les Gibson, James Hoble, New Bounce, Jean Martyn, Ronan Parke and Paul Gbegbaje in the final.
The Britain's Got Talent 2011 live final airs at 7PM tomorrow night on ITV1.
