New X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has said that she's going to be herself on The X Factor, offering a "raw in your face, real element to the show." The young lead singer from group N-Dubz however added she'd also be warm with the contestants.
Tulisa will be joined on the panel this year by fellow new judges Kelly Rowland and Take That star Gary Barlow as well as returning panelist Louis Walsh.
"I'm very excited about joining The X Factor," the 22-year-old singer said. "I've always loved the show and I want to thank al lmy fans for supporting me on my journey this far."
She continued: "Rest assured the Tulisa you know isn't going anywhere. I don't know how to be anything other than myself and that's what I'll be. I hope I can bring that raw in your face, real element to the show - and the warm because you know I'm a softy at heart!
"I can't wait to find the next star of the UK. I am still a member of N-Dubz and they will be my team until the day I die."
The singer added: "The Female Boss is ready to rumble. Bring it on!"
The N-Dubz star previously said that she hoped to inspire this year's auditionees.
Simon Cowell meanwhile said he expected there to be friction between the singer and current judge Louis Walsh!
Auditions for The X Factor 2011 begin today in Birmingham, where Tulisa will be joined by new judges Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland as well as returning judge Louis Walsh.
