ITV have reportedly said that they are happy with their new line up for The X Factor 2011. The new panel - expected to be announced tomorrow - will include Take That star Gary Barlow and N-Dubz member Tulisa. US star Kelly Rowland will replace Dannii Minogue while Louis Walsh will return for an eighth year.
Cheryl Cole is expectedly to snub the show, despite being offered £2.5 million to take part. However some reports have suggested there is still time for Cheryl to change her mind, a source told the Daily Mail: "They have offered to double Cheryl’s pay packet in the UK and Simon is trying to convince her to take this opportunity.
“The truth is that Cheryl is in a major sulk and she may turn the offer down.
“No one knows what she’s going to do, but the feeling is that if she turns down X Factor in the UK it really would be career suicide.”
Regardless of whether or not Cheryl will be on the panel, ITV seem happy with the current line up. An insider told News Of The World: "We are happy with our female judges - Tulisa and Kelly.
"They will make up a strong panel with Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow. The auditions have to start on Wednesday because they have been scheduled to fit around the Take That tour."
N-Dubz singer Tulisa – who was all but confirmed as a UK judge – had not heard anything from ITV in days and was now fearing for her position.
Meanwhile a source told the Sunday Mirror the show was falling apart behind the scenes: “This is how shambolic the whole operation has become.
"This is supposed to be one of the biggest shows in the world, with some of the slickest production but it is being run in an unbelievably shoddy manner.”
Auditions for The X Factor 2011 UK start on Wednesday in Birmingham.
