Cheryl Cole to return to The X Factor UK and replace Tulisa in 'virtually done deal'

It seems that nothing can keep ambitious Cheryl Cole down, the singer is already planning her big return to the UK just a day after being sacked from the US version of the show. According to The Sun today the deal is 'virtually done' and will see Tulisa loose her place on the panel.

Despite not having even attended a single audition show yet, it looks like the N-Dubz star will be booted off the show before its even begun.

The newspaper states that Cheryl, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh are certain for this year's panel, with the final spotting more than likely going to Kelly Rowland.

"[Cheryl is hurt but has agreed to come back. She doesn't want her British fans to think she would desert them," a source told the newspaper.

"She is determined to make it clear she hasn't failed. She thinks the blame lies at someone else's doorstep."

Cheryl Cole's mum however was far more optimistic, telling friends: "Cheryl has been paid off to come back to the UK to sort out the show. Simon told her Tulisa just wasn't strong enough. The deal is she will be seen as the head judge, even above Gary Barlow."

Cheryl got the axe from the US version of the last yesterday after failing to impress FOX bosses during the first audition shows in L.A. A pal said: "She is completely shocked and stunned. She never saw this coming at all."
