X Factor 2011 auditionees feeling 'let down' and 'disappointed' by audition process

The X Factor

Hopeful X Factor 2011 auditionees have revealed that they are feeling let down by the show after having to wait for more than 10 weeks to learn whether or not they've made it through to see the judges at next month's auditions. Speaking to TellyMix, many hopeful singers are still being left hanging - with auditions just over one week away.

One told us: "It is very frustrating waiting for them to call. You can't sleep and it stresses you out so much!

"I feel slightly let down, even though it's a once in a lifetime opportunity."

Another confident auditionee admitted: "I am hoping they call me soon because I willing and ready to show them what they are missing."

Another hopeful explained how she had flown all the way from Thailand to audition for The X Factor 2011 in April at the last Cardiff auditions. The singer said she was still waiting to hear despite sailing through the pre-auditions last month.

Meanwhile an budding singer from London added: "The wait is excruciating and I hate being kept in the dark. It is extremely horrible. The wait for phone call is never ending."

However we can reveal that at least some auditionees have heard back. One successful singer was "over the moon" when she was invited to the Birmingham auditions on June 1st, saying: "It was a long wait and I was expecting the worst, but now I'm just so happy. I'm over the moon. I just hope the judges like me!"
