Could useless dog act Mexican Mayhem make it through to the Britain's Got Talent live shows?

Stephen Mulhern has revealed he thinks that useless dog act Mexican Mayhem could actually make it through to this year's Britain's Got Talent live finals! The act - made up of 40-year-old Melanie and dogs Tucker and Twizzle - managed to get through on Saturday night's show with two yeses.

Michael McIntyre told Melanie: “If both the dogs did what they were supposed to do, it wouldn’t have been nearly as entertaining as the fact that right off the bat one dog decided, ‘I’m not going to do this.’ It was like they were a comedy double act. You do not want to train the other dog.”

Amanda added: “I think that doggy debut was hilarious for all the wrong reasons, but I really enjoyed it."

Despite David Hasselhoff being unconvinced, with two yeses it was through to the next round of auditions for the act. Now 's Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern thinks they can go even further!

"Animal acts are so unpredictable. This turned into a comedy act which was just amazing," he said on This Morning yesterday.

"It wouldn’t surprise me if that sort of act did make it to the semi finals, even though it went horrendously wrong. Because what we do need in the semis is stuff that’s unpredictable."

Britain’s Got Talent 2011 continues on Sunday night.
