Illusionists David and Karen nervous about performing live on Britain's Got Talent

Britain's Got Talent illusionists David and Karen have said that they are nervous about performing their tricks live if they make it through to next week's semi finals. The magicians, who impressed with a box swap trick on Saturday night, are unsure of whether to risk more dangerous performances live on TV!

We told last night how David Penn had to be rushed ot hospital after the trick the pair had planned for the live shows went wrong.

Speaking on This Morning, 40-year-old David revealed: "There has been stuff in the papers about the trick and we’re not sure we will actually do that in the show because it’s live.

"I really am not happy about it, because I’ve had an accident and we’ve had to change things around. I’ve torn one of my oblique muscles off my rib cage in practicing for it. It was supposed to be me that took over the lead role in the illusion but if we do it, Karen will be doing that."

Partner Karen meanwhile was more optimistic, saying "It is dangerous but I think it will be fine. I am trying to persuade him."

Britain's Got Talent 2011 continues this Sunday on ITV1.
