Final Britain's Got Talent 2011 auditions episode to air on SUNDAY, May 29

A bumper final audition episode of Britain's Got Talent will air on Sunday, May 29, it has been revealed. The 90 minute special will see the final few auditionees try out for the judges before the top 40 acts are revealed. The live shows, starring 8 acts every day, will start from Monday, May 30.

Simon Cowell will return for the live semi-finals starting Monday 30 May and continuing through the rest of the week. Each week night:

7.30pm - 9pm: Britain's Got Talent
9pm - 9.30pm: Coronation Street
9.30pm - 10pm: Britain's Got Talent results

At stake for the live finalists is a £100 000 cash prize and the chance to appear on a star-studded bill at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.

After each heat, viewers can vote for their favourite contender to keep them in the competition. The act with the highest number of votes is automatically placed in the final, while it is up to the panel to choose between the runners-up in a results show each night.

Hosts Ant and Dec are on hand to support, congratulate and commiserate with the contestants. Which acts will make it through to the live grand final?
