Simon Cowell is back on Britain's Got Talent 2011 for the live semi finals from Monday May 30, it has been confirmed! The music mogul will sit alongside judges Amana Holden, Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff for the week of live episodes and have his say on the acts that have been put through.
ITV yesterday confirmed: "Simon Cowell will return for the Britain's Got Talent semi-finals, starting Monday 30 May on ITV1."
The top 40 acts will go through to the live semi finals, with 8 acts performing on a live show every day between Monday and Friday June 3. On Saturday June 4 the top 10 acts - two from each of the semi finals - will compete to win £100,000 and a spot on the royal variety.
Michael McIntyre previously said that he expected Cowell to have harsh words for some of the acts the panel have put through. "Simon will have criticisms,” the funnyman told TV Times. “There’ll be lots of footage of him in his sunglasses with his T-shirt a little bit tight, walking along a corridor saying, ‘They’ve ruined my show – who is this comedian? He said he was going to lose weight and look at the state of him!’”
Meanwhile Amanda Holden revealed she though Simon Cowell should sit on a throne next to the panel when he returns! David Hasselhoff asked her: "When Simon comes back is it going to be a longer table (judges’ desk) or is he kind of going to sit in a little throne behind us?”
While ‘Shrek The Musical’ star Amanda replied: “I think he should have a throne.”
Britain's Got Talent 2011 continues this weekend at 8PM for the final audition episode.
