Simon Cowell today revealed that he has spent £1 million on revamping the live shows of the programme, including a completely new set at Wembley's Fountain studios. The music mogul also said while he doesn't know who's gone through yet, he has been watching the auditions - and loves Ronan Parke!

In Star magazine, Cowell said: "I can also reveal there will be a £1m makeover for the set on the live shows!"

The X Factor judge continued: "I'm so excited about the Britain's Got Talent live shows as I don't know who's actually going through. But no more bell ringers - they drive me mad!

"I love 12-year-old singer Ronan Parke, who is the bookies' favourite, but there are some very talented acts we've yet to see!"

And despite reports about flagging ratings, Simon insisted: "As far as the ratings go, I'm very happy. I think any new show takes time to bed in and I'm thrilled with the new panel; they've done a great job."

Britain’s Got Talent 2011 continues this Saturday at 8PM.
