Popstars Kelly Rowland and Mel C have become the latest names linked to The X Factor here in the UK after it was confirmed Cheryl Cole would be leaving the show for the states. According to The Sun, US star Kelly Rowland is currently in talks to take over from Cole in the summer.
A source said: "Cheryl leaves a massive void on the panel and there's a serious hunt going on right now."
As well as Kelly Rowland, former Spice Girl Mel C also revealed this week she'd be interested in the job.
"I think I'd really enjoy the mentoring part of the show but I don't know how comfortable I'd feel judging people," Mel said at the launch of Disney Junior on Thursday.
"I did some work for Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Over The Rainbow' and I really enjoyed the mentoring part of it and the whole experience. I'm happy to pass on any bit of knowledge to new people coming in to the business."
The panel for The X Factor UK is set to be announced by the end of the month.
