Despite having only auditioned a couple of days ago, 12-year-old singer Ronan Parke has already become the 5-2 favourite to win Britain's Got Talent 2011. The child singer, who has already been tipped to win by Amanda Holden and Stephen Mulhern, wowed the audience with his rendition of Feeling Good on Saturday night.

Despite being clearly scared at his audition where he performed in front of a 3,000 strong crowd, Ronan sailed through to the next round with three yeses from the panel.

"You said you took a day off school, I wouldn’t bother going back," Michael McIntyre told the youngster. "You are a little star.”

Ronan, from Norwich, told The Mirror today about his audition: “I was really nervous but happy I’d got to that stage. Excitement then took over my nerves.

“When I looked at the audience I didn’t realise how many people there would be and that was a bit scary.”

He added: “I definitely want to be a performer.”

Other top acts currently including Edward Reid and Michael Collings.
