Underwear 'artist' Anthony Wait is one of the wacky auditionees on tomorrow night's Britain's Got Talent, we can reveal! The 49-year-old leaves the BGT panel, consisting this weekend of guest judge Louis Walsh, Michael McIntyre and Amanda Holden, speechless with his act.
"I’m an artist. My love of art started when I was a child," Anthony says, "I’d take toilet paper from the bathroom, roll it up, add water and make these sculptures. I take art extremely serious. Art to me is my life. I want everyone to love art and appreciate it."
Anthony presents his act to the judges. With a canvas set on the floor, Anthony dances round the stage and takes off his trousers. He then removes a pair of pants and starts painting, using the discarded pants as a paintbrush. He stands up and dances round the stage removing another pair of pants then goes back to his painting. He does this over and over again till he only has one pair of pants left on!
Luckily for the audience, just as Anthony begins to flash his behind, the judges buzz just in time and Anthony’s act is over.
Did the judges press the buzzer to save blushes all round or because they didn’t rate his act much?
Meanwhile we can also reveal that it’s not the first time that Anthony has auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent either, having tried out in front of last year’s panel too. Shockingly Anthony managed to get a yes from Simon for his act – which saw him create a painting for the judges by using a space hopper.
Britain's Got Talent 2011 continues tomorrow night on ITV1.
