Amanda Holden is to reshoot scenes from the previously filmed auditions in order to "edit out" her pregnancy tragedy from the show, it has been reported. According to The Mirror, Amanda begged bosses to axe and redo scenes in order to avoid any heartache when the new series airs next month.
A source told the tabloid: "What Amanda has been through was horrendous, and to have to watch herself on TV looking pregnant would be very difficult to cope with. She quietly asked the production team to make sure the footage is carefully edited.
“They thought the best way was to reshoot some scenes then slide them into the original footage.
“It’s a huge relief for Amanda and her family, who were dreading the devastating reminder of their tragedy being aired on national television.”
Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff will join Amanda in Birmingham as the trio take part in the last audition show of the series for YouTube auditionees.
