If online reports are anything to go by it looks as though The X Factor will be taking part in cross Atlantic swap this year. According to website M is for Music, US singer Nicole Scherzinger is set to take up a seat on the UK panel this year while Brit Cheryl Cole will move to the states to judge the American version of the show.
A source told the publication: "Nicole would much rather judge on the UK show considering how well her solo career is doing in Britain and the fact that [her boyfriend] Lewis [Hamilton] lives here.
"Nicole loves the fact that the UK public are so keen to take people to their hearts like they did with Cheryl and she doubts she would have the same amount of support on the American series. It would be the perfect opportunity to fill Cheryl's shoes and become a national treasure."
