Britian's Got Talent 2011 hosts Ant and Dec have said that this year's show is even better, now it's without their boss Simon Cowell! The cheeky chaps made the comments when talking to BANG! Showbiz at last night's Royal Television Society Awards, where the duo picked up a presenting award for their work on the reality programme.
“It’s really nice because the show is just so much more fresh now," Dec explained. "This is season five and having two new judges in there just gives the whole thing a really different feel. They like slightly different acts to Simon and Piers.
“Comedians and magicians never used to get much of a look-in in previous years because Simon and Piers don’t have much of a sense of humour. Now we’ve got two new judges who enjoy a good laugh, we’re getting a wider variety of acts.”
While there's good news for the comics though, there's bad news for those hoping to impress with their pets! Dec revealed: “Although dogs have definitely got less of a chance now Simon has gone – we all know he loves a dog!”
Britain’s Got Talent returns to ITV1 in April this year.
