New Britain's Got Talent judges in the form of Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff have been like a breath of fresh air for the show, presenters Ant and Dec have said. Speaking about the new online Britain's Got Talent auditions, the duo said they wanted to be sure the show "left no stone unturned" in this year's hunt for talent.
Speaking on This Morning today, Dec said: "It’s just we want to make sure we don’t leave any stones unturned this year, to find the very best acts."
Pal Ant, making one of his first public appearances since his assault, added: "And we’ve already have some very good auditonees come on and the new judges are brilliant. Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff are great."
Ant continued: "It’s a real breath of fresh air to have the new judges, no disrespect to the two departed but for the first time in a long time acts like comics and magicians now have a look in.
"Because the other two that have gone, Piers and Simon, by their own admission they don’t have a great sense of humour. But with Michael and David coming in now, magicians, comedians, those type of variety acts have real look in because they’re not being judged now by thinking of selling their album.
"It’s a real fresh series this year I think."
