The "hardest ever challenge" to face the Dancing On Ice 2011 contestants was revealed today ahead of Sunday's semi-final show. In a first for the programme, the four remaining celebrities will have to choreograph and perform their own solo routine for the judges in a bid to get through to the final in two weeks time.
"Torvill and Dean took everyone on the ice last night and revealed the toughest ever challenge," said Dancing On Ice host Phillip Schofield.
He continued: "They must skate alone and do a full routine, which they must choreograph themselves. They are allowed to use the professional skaters, so they can be lifted by them, but they must come up with it all by themselves and then present their final routine to Torvill and Dean."
Reaction from the group was said to be mixed, Schofield explained: "Johnson apparently said, 'Yes I'm ready, I'm down with that', others looked a little bit scared and worried.
"Johnson is now looking forward to it, Sam wants to go all out and skate naked to distract everyone. Laura showed no real emotion and kept all her thoughts to herself and Chloe looked quite scared about it."
