X Factor audition clash with Royal Wedding causes 'headache' for producers

The X Factor

One of this year's X Factor auditions in London will clash with the Royal Wedding on April 29, according to tabloid reports. The Sun claims that auditions are to be held at the O2 on the same day Prince William and fiancé Kate Middleton wed, causing problems galore for the producers.

Security precautions for the wedding will see airspace shut, roads closed and transport links disrupted in the nation's capital, possibly forcing the audition show to be moved to another date. A security source told the newspaper: "They've a massive headache."

So far open auditions have only been confirmed up until April 9, with dates in London on March 6 and 7.
