Telly favourite Denise Van Outen will join forces with Welsh presenter Matt Johnson to host OK! TV, the new Channel 5 programme which will replace the struggling 'Live From Studio Five'. The pair will front the rebranded topical magazine show from February 14 every weekday from 6:30PM on the network.
The show will feature the same sorts of content already covered by its predecessor, including celeb interviews, music, beauty, fashion, and showbiz gossip. The new programme comes following OK magazine and Daily Star owner Richmond Desmond's acquisition of the Channel 5 network.
Talking about her new job, Denise Van Outen said: "I can't wait to get cracking on OK! TV. I have a huge appetite for all things showbiz so this show is right up my street."
She added: "I'm really looking forward to working with Matt too and we can't wait to show the viewers what we've got in store."
Meanwhile Matt Johnson - who currently features on ITV1 morning programme This Morning - commented: "I am very excited to be part of OK! TV and I think Denise and I are going to have a lot of fun together - I've long been an admirer of her presenting style and know we'll get along like a house on fire."
