Girls Aloud babe Kimberley Walsh has been tipped to front a new entertainment programme for the revamped Channel 5, according to tabloid reports. The Daily Star - owned by the same company as Five and OK Magazine - claim that Walsh will present a new 'secret' show on the network.
According to the paper, Kimberley is hoping to follow in the footsteps of her successful bandmate Cheryl Cole who rose to fame on ITV1's The X Factor. Kimberley has done a fair bit of presenting herself already since the band went on an indefinite hiatus, fronting Viva's 'Suck My Pop' and presenting live coverage of the Baftas for E!.
A source explained to the Daily Star: "Cheryl has done brilliantly on the small screen and Kimberley looks in a good position to follow suit.”
Five was recently brought out by media giant Richmond Desmond who recently axed long running magazine show Live From Studio Five, replacing it with 'OK! TV'. Could this be the 'secret' project Kimberley Walsh is hoping to present?
