Love Island 2019: Meet new Islander Molly-Mae Hague

Meet Love Island's newest Islander

Love Island 2019 has revealed its first bombshell: Meet new Islander Molly-Mae Hague!

Molly-Mae is a 20-year-old “social media influencer” from Hertfordshire who is set to stir things up.

She says: “I feel like I’ve done really well for myself considering the small town I come from, I’ve moved out, got my own flat and grown my Instagram following to over 150,000 to make it my job.”

Ahead of entering the villa in tonight’s (Thursday) show, Molly-Mae described herself: “I am very laid back and easy going. What you see is what you get with me. I’m an open book, I’m easy to talk to and approachable and I’m very chilled. I can talk to anyone. Nothing is ever awkward with me.

“I am very caring, I always put other people before myself and I like people to feel at ease when they’re talking to me. I don’t like awkwardness. I’m energetic and very positive. I’m an overthinker, I spend a lot of time thinking. I can be a bit hot headed and I can be quite scatty.”

On her looks, Molly-Mae continued: “I have a lot of followers on social media and that’s all aesthetic so I guess I have to be a little bit above average-looking to get followers. Recently people have been complimenting me on my nose – I’d never even thought about my nose!”

Molly-Mae says she would never cheat and her ideal guy is someone like Channing Tatum.

“I love big tall guys that make me feel petite and protected,” she explains. “Definitely someone that can make me laugh. Laughing is my favourite thing, I have to be constantly laughing!

“That’s what keeps me in a good mood and keeps me positive. Having good energy around me is so important. Obviously, you want to wake up and fancy the person next to you but at the same time it’s all about what the vibe is like.”

Molly-Mae will make her entrance into the villa this evening where she’ll be sent one a date with one of the guys as chosen by viewers.

At the end of the week, there will be a recoupling that will see one boy dumped from the villa.

In Wednesday night’s show, Anton got a text: “At the end of the week all Islanders will take part in a recoupling. Anyone not picked to be in a couple will be dumped from the island. #ScotFree #DontBeSourdough.”

As each Islander is keen to secure their place in the villa…the real grafting will surely commence.

Love Island 2019 airs nightly on ITV2 at 9PM.
