I’m A Celebrity 2017: Rebekah Vardy doesn’t think Iain Lee is “fake” anymore
Rebekah Vardy has backtracked on her claim that Iain Lee is “fake” on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of here.
It was Becky who left I’m A Celebrity 2017 in Monday’s results and she seemingly took aim at Iain after her exit.
“Honestly he is fake,” she declared on the show’s ITV2 Extra Camp spin-off.
Becky explained her point of view: “I have spent a lot of time with Iain and I was so careful what I said on the VT and what I didn’t but now I will let it out.
“He has got a game plan and I hate people who pretend to be something they are not.
“He is going in there to win and he is playing the sympathy card and he isolates himself from the rest of the camp and then as soon as the cameras are on he wants the limelight.”
However now Becky has had a chance to watch the show back, she feels things have been portrayed unfairly.
She told The Sun she was in tears over accusations that Iain had been ‘bullied’ on the show.
And Becky revealed: “It seems that so many scenes weren’t aired on the show.
“The whole time I was checking if he was OK, especially after he failed his first trial. He wouldn’t eat and I had to force him to have food.”
Becky added: “I was under pressure when I made that comment about him being an utter fake.
“Do you know what? Me and Iain had some really great conversations and I gave him a lot of pep talks.”
I’m A Celebrity continues nightly on ITV with evictions continuing over the next week.
Toff remains the one to beat and is currently the hot favourite to win.
The final takes place next Sunday night on December 10.
