I’m A Celebrity 2017: Jamie Lomas sulks over chores after Toff takes over as Prime Minister

Hollyoaks actor isn't happy that Amir Khan was made one of the camp chefs

Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo has been elected the new Prime Minister on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – but Jamie Lomas isn’t happy that she gave Amir Khan cooking duties.

Yesterday, viewers were able to vote for the celebrities they wanted to be camp leader, following in the footsteps of Iain Lee, Stanley Johnson and Jamie Lomas.

As the outgoing power duo, Jamie and his Deputy Prime Minister, Jennie McAlpine, were excluded from the vote.

The results were announced in camp a short while later, and Toff was thrilled to find out that she’d topped the poll.

It was a promotion for the Made In Chelsea star, who previously served as Stanley’s Deputy.

“I want everyone laughing all the time, it’s my new jungle rule,” she proclaimed.

Toff then found out that her right-hand man would be Dennis Wise, who received the second most public votes.

The pair swiftly moved in to the leaders’ residence, 10 Downing Creek, and soon the fax machine delivered instructions for them to reallocate the chores.

They decided to keep “fantastic” chef Rebekah Vardy in her role, but couldn’t decide who would join her.

“Jamie is dying to do that, he’s said it to me,” Toff said, while Dennis claimed that Amir Khan also wanted a go at the cooking.

A game of rock, paper, scissors decided the result, and Amir got the chef role, while Jamie was put on maintenance.

However, Amir was dumbfounded when Toff and Dennis announced the decision, exclaiming: “Me? Me, a chef? Give me a break!”

“I had it in my head for some reason that Amir said it to me,” Dennis insisted.

Toff apologised to a disgruntled Jamie and claimed the situation was “quite funny”, but he hit back: “Not for me, it’s not!”

The Hollyoaks actor complained further, sulking: “Dennis has done me right over.

“Listen, Toff, I think you should have over-ruled your deputy, but there you go.”

Jamie couldn’t resist having his say in as Becky turned her attention to the six-star dinner he and Dennis had won in the earlier Bushtucker Trial.

“I’d have loved to have had the cooking, I’d have put more rice in,” he commented.

Becky wasn’t too impressed, jokingly responding: “Are you going to keep whining all day?

“We only got 6 stars, so we can’t have more rice. He is being a right little girl about it.”
