I’m A Celebrity 2017: Iain Lee battles heights and green ants in latest trial
Here’s a first look at tonight’s I’m A Celebrity as Iain Lee faces the latest trial.
In last night’s show, viewers once again took to the ITV reality show’s official app to vote for who they wanted to face the next Trial, ‘Space Your Fears’.
Current jungle Prime Minister Stanley Johnson was excluded from the poll on medical grounds one more.
Ant and Dec visited camp at the end of the latest episode and teased Rebekah Vardy that it ‘might be you’, before confirming that Iain had topped the vote.
The challenge see the radio host conquer heights as he crosses a zipwire in a mini spaceship, named the ‘Bush Blaster 1’.
In addition to reaching out for stars high above the jungle ground, he’ll also have to search compartments of the vessel, full of nasties.
Critters Iain will have to contend with include cockroaches, green ants and mealworms.
“It’s a sci-fi spectacular as one celebrity reaches for the stars,” Ant and Dec commented. “Terror is the final frontier when you Space Your Fears.”
The latest Trial will be Iain’s fourth, and the second he’s faced as a result of the public vote.
No doubt he’ll be hoping to redeem himself after uttering the famous phrase I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in his last trial.
Viewers chose Iain to enter the ‘Temple of Gloom’ over the weekend, but he quit the task after panicking in an underwater chamber.
Iain returned to camp in tears with no stars, however his fellow celebs rallied around the TV presenter.
Can he put his fears aside for the latest challenge?
In this preview clip we see Iain taking on the task and getting at least one star, before he’s confronted by a green ant’s nest 100ft in the air.
Tune in to I’m A Celebrity on ITV tnight at 9.00pm to see how Iain does aboard the Bush Blaster.
