I’m A Celebrity 2017: Amir Khan hits out at Iain Lee over ‘bullying’ claims on Extra Camp
Amir Khan hit out at Iain lee in yesterday’s I’m A Celebrity Extra Camp Final.
It was Toff won won I’m A Celebrity 2017 last night, beating Jamie Lomas into second place. Iain Lee finished third in the live final.
After the main show, the trio joined the rest of the celebs from this year’s series on Extra Camp and things got awkward.
Amir shouted out at Iain to declare himself and Dennis were not “bullies”.
TV watchdog Ofcom has received more than 300 complaints over this year’s shows from viewers.
Fans have accused some of the celebs – namely Amir, Dennis and Jamie Lomas – of picking on Iain.
Chatting on Extra Camp, Iain was asked about his relationship with the lads and said they’d be friends on the outside world.
“Iain!” exclaimed Amir from the sidelines. “We are not bullies mate.”
A confused Iain replied: “I never used that word.”
“Anyway, we will talk about that later,” Amir then added.
Ahead of the final, Amir had denied the claims of bullying made by fans.
After his departure on Friday night, he said: “I’ve never bullied Iain in any way, it’s the opposite, I would be the one to put my arm around him and tell him not to worry. I would always walk with him and talk to him about life, I wanted to make him feel better.
“So to be cast as the bad guy has really hurt and upset me.”
In an interview with The Sun on Sunday newspaper, Amir insisted: “I count Iain as a friend and I told him I would try to help out in any way I could, like signing boxing gloves for his sons and help him financially by giving him money if he ever needed it. I can’t believe that I’ve come out to all this.”
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here airs on TV.
