I’m A Celebrity 2018: Noel Edmonds and Harry Redknapp to face ‘worst EVER eating trial’
Noel Edmonds and Harry Redknapp will face the the ‘worst EVER’ eating trial on I’m A Celebrity 2018.
There was no viewer vote last night (Thursday) as instead hosts Holly and Dec announced the end of the week’s ‘Empire twist’.
“The Empire and the Emperor will be no more,” the pair revealed to the camp.
It meant that Emperor Noel Edmonds and his second in command Harry Redknapp would automatically face the next trial, called Nero to Zero.
The first part will see the pair have to hold live critters in their mouth – but that’s just the start.
The second half will involve an eating task, starting with a full sheep’s brain served in a fish skull.
Then they’ll face what Extra Camp say is the ‘worst eating task EVER’ on I’m A Celebrity.
Harry and Noel will have to chew on fish eyes, squirting the juices into a glass before then drinking the contents to finish off the task.
Noel had joined the I’m A Celebrity camp this week, a few days after the rest of the cast.
He was installed as the Emperor and had been living a life of (relative) luxury with his ‘inner circle’.
The rest of the celebs had to compete for places in the Empire by taking on challenges. Those that won would join the inner circle, allowing them to join Noel’s life of luxury. The others would have to live off basic rations of rice and beans.
Malique and Rita were voted for by viewers in last night’s show for tonight’s Trial which was called Drown and Out.
Dec introduced Emperor Noel and his Inner Circle which so far comprised of Advisor Harry Redknapp, Fleur East and Sair Khan.
Dec told Emperor Noel that the public had voted Rita and Malique to do today’s Trial and that he had now to choose two gladiators to compete against them. Emperor Noel consulted his Inner Circle and chose John and Emily.
Dec explained rules of the Trial: Both duos would start the Trial at the bottom of two tanks. When the time started, the water in the tanks would begin to rise. The teams’ aim was to find the keys at the bottom of the tank and undo the padlocks on the coloured levers down the wall of the tank.
Once they had undone all the padlocks on each lever, they would need to remove the chain and pull the lever down. That would make water pour out of the corresponding tap on their opponents’ tank.
When the water lever in the rival tank rose and forced then out of the top then the team had won.
I’m A Celebrity 2018 continues nightly on ITV at 9PM.
