The Only Way Is Essex 2019 cast revealed: Who's back, who's gone and who's new

TOWIE cast for Season 24 revealed

Here's your first look at The Only Way Is Essex 2019 cast with a lot of changes.

As Series 24 of TOWIE prepares to kick off - launching 9PM on Sunday, March 17 on ITVbe - a full look at the new cast has been unveiled.

Those back on TOWIE for 2019 include Lauren Pope, Shelby Trible, Georgia Kousoulou, Chloe Meadows, Courtney Green, Chloe Sims, Dan Edgar, Tommy Mallet and Pete Wicks.

Also returning for the new series are James 'Diags' Bennewith, Liam 'Gatsby' Blackwell, Sam Mucklow, Pete Wicks and Lauren Pope, Clelia Theodorou and Saffron Lempriere.

However it's been revealed that a host of familiar faces won't be back for 2019.

They include Myles Barnett and his Love Island star girlfriend Kady McDermott, who joined the show last year.

Chloe Lewis and Jon Clark are said to have 'mutually agreed' to bow out, together with Chris Clark, Adam Oukhellou, Dean Ralph and Jordan Wright.

In an online post on her social media, Chloe said previously: "After a long four years on The Only Way Is Essex, I'm happy to announce I have decided to leave the show. My life isn't in it anymore and I feel as if it's the right time for me to move on to other things. "

Myles Barnett also shared on his Instagram earlier this year: "After an eventful two years at TOWIE with many highs and lows I have taken the decision upon myself to leave TOWIE. When something no longer fulfils you, makes your grow as a person or even just makes you happy it’s best to leave it in the past. "

A 'next generation' of new faces has since been revealed.

Names joining the cast include 18-year-old tutor Kelsey Stratford, 23-year-old personal trainer Tom McDonnell and 18-year-old Hairdresser Ella Wise.

Also new for 2019 are 23-year-old semi-pro footballer & events organiser Harry Lee, 20-year-old model Jayden Beales and 17-year-old fashion student Joey Turner.

They'll be with mum and daughter, 18-year-old hairdresser Chloe Brockett and 42-year-old Black Cab Driver Clare Brockett.

A spokesperson for the show commented: "A number of cast have been notified that they’re not being contracted for the start of series 24 as we look to bring in some fresh new faces, however we’ve always maintained that cast can return as and when the timing is right for them and the show.

"It’s how TOWIE has stayed so fresh and exciting for nearly a decade. We remain grateful to every single cast member that has featured in TOWIE and contributed to its huge success."

The Only Way Is Essex Series 24 airs Sunday nights at 9PM on ITVBe.
