Here's your first look at the Strictly Come Dancing 2018 Christmas contestants on this year's special.
Six of the most-loved Strictly Come Dancing celebrities from previous series are returning to the dance floor this Christmas Day, December 25.
The theme for this year’s festive extravaganza is fairytales and making dreams come true. Each of the six couples will perform a Christmas inspired routine in a bid to be crowned Christmas champions 2018.
This year the leading ladies set to spread Christmas joy on the dancefloor are Anita Rani (series 13), Ann Widdecombe (series 8) and Caroline Flack (series 12).
The gentlemen set to rock around the Christmas tree are Aston Merrygold (series 15), Jake Wood (series 12) and Michael Vaughan (series 10).
Anita will be paired with Neil Jones (competed in Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special 2017, 2016). Ann will be paired with Anton Du Beke (seasoned Christmas professional Anton Du Beke has competed in five Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Specials in 2016, 2012, 2011, 2010 and 2004). Caroline will be paired with Gorka Marquez (competed in Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special 2016).
Aston will be paired with Janette Manrara (Winner of Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special 2016 with Melvin Odoom). Jake will be paired with Luba Mushtuk, one of the brand new professional dancers announced earlier this year. Michael will be paired with Nadiya Bychkova, who will be dancing for the first time in the Christmas Special.
Hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, the show wouldn’t be complete without the festive foursome on the judging panel: Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Head Judge Shirley Ballas.
The judges will be on hand to score each couple and spread some cheerful joy, yet it will be down to the studio audience to vote for which dancing duo will win the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special 2018 and lift the famous Silver Star trophy.
Strictly Come Dancing's Christmas special airs Christmas Day, Tuesday December 25 on BBC One at 5:30PM.
