Even Better Than the Real Thing Christmas contestants: Meet the tribute acts!

Paddy McGuinness will host a Christmas BBC One TV talent show for tribute singers tonight.

The Stars In Their Eyes-esque series is called Even Better Than The Real Thing and previously aired its first special earlier in 2017.

Paddy McGuinness said: “This show is a belter! A talent show that’s only about the talent - with the best tribute acts from around the world singing their hearts out.

"You'll never have to fork out for expensive concert tickets again. You've got front row seats!"

Even Better Than The Real Thing airs its second episode tonight, December 23, at 7:10PM on BBC One.

The show is back with a fun filled Christmas Special hosted by Paddy McGuinness with five more of the best professional Tribute acts in the world in a night to remember.

The five competing acts pay tribute to music legends Michael Bublé, Michael Jackson, John Lennon, Kylie Minogue and Bruce Springsteen. They deliver breath-taking performances, each singing an iconic Christmas hit made famous by their musical idol.

The tribute acts appearing are Elton John tribute artist (PAUL BACON), Michael Buble tribute artist (PEET ROTHWELL), Michael Jackson tribute artist (ESHAN), Bruce Springsteen tribute artist (JERRY BRENNAN), John Lennon tribute artist (JIMMY COBURN), Ed Sheeran tribute artist (JACK SHEPARD), Kylie tribute artist (LUCY HOLMES) and Kate Bush tribute artist (MANDY WATSON).

The studio audience’s favourite acts then take part in never before seen duets to really get the Christmas party started.

After the duets round, the studio audience vote one last time for their ultimate champion, the one act who is truly ‘Even Better Than the Real Thing.’

Rachel Ashdown, BBC Entertainment Commissioning Editor says: "We are thrilled that Paddy will be bringing his unique brand of warmth and wit to these shows which promise to give you some of the best loved songs, performed as you have never seen them before."
