Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief 2017 is here

Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief 2017 kicked off tonight and here are all of the performances.

Fronted by Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, the new series returned to BBC One tonight for its first of three heats.

The show last aired in 2013 as Let's Dance and this year once again celebrities will don more fantastic outfits and learn more iconic dance routines for Comic Relief, but this time the brave celebrities will be facing double the challenge – dancing and singing!

The performing celebs were judged each week by a panel of top TV personalities, Frank Skinner, Katherine Ryan and Jo Brand, but it was the viewers who decided the top performers.

Performing on tonight's show were Astrologer Russell Grant who belted out Chain Reaction by Diana Ross while Stand-up comedian and actress Sara Pascoe performed Chandelier by Sia.

Actresses Harriet Thorpe and Helen Lederer danced and sung to Dancing Queen by ABBA while Matt Edmondson became Nicki Minaj to sing Superbass.

Finally, Rickie Haywood Williams and Melvin Odoom put on quite the show with a medley of Will Smith’s biggest music hits.

In the results, it was Rickie & Melvin who topped the public vote to go through to the final alongside Sara who won the judges' vote between the two runners up ahead of Matt.

Let's Sing And Dance returns next Saturday night live on BBC One with the second heat and new line up of celebs.
