The Voice UK 2017 battle rounds take place this Saturday and Sunday on ITV and here's a first look.
It’s a double bill of The Voice UK as the current crop of 40 contestants are almost halved.
Coaches will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones and Gavin Rossdale will take their teams to world famous Abbey Road Studios in London to be paired up to do battle and sing for their place in the competition.
Each coach will pair up the acts in their teams a series of sing-offs. Both acts will share the stage, performing the same song in front of the coaches and a live studio audience.
After each performance, all the coaches will offer their opinion on the better performer but the pair's mentor will decide alone who the winner is.
However it's not necessarily all over for the loser with the the return of the steal twist.
Each coach is able to save one of the battle round 'rejects' and steal them for their own team in the knockout rounds.
Acts who lose their battles and aren't stolen will be out of the contest for good while the battle winners and stolen acts will go forward to the knockout rounds, one step away from the live finals.
The Voice UK battles will air in two shows next weekend on Saturday and Sunday night.
The first half of The Voice UK 2017 battle rounds will air Saturday night, 25th February at 8:30PM.
The second half will be back on ITV on Sunday night at 7PM, with both episodes running for two hours.
