Here's a behind the scenes look at The X Factor 2016's auditions which start this Saturday night.
In these candid snaps we go behind the cameras with the judges and hosts as they filmed the first stage of the show earlier this year.
This year’s series sees the return of some favourite faces as rock royalty Sharon Osbourne, pop sensation Nicole Scherzinger, chart maestro Louis Walsh and The X Factor creator and music mogul Simon Cowell are reunited on the judging panel.
They are joined by the nation’s favourite TV host, Dermot O’Leary, who is back to guide viewers through all of The X Factor action as well as providing hopefuls with those much-needed ‘Dermot hugs’.
And over on the Xtra Factor, Rylan Clark-Neal is back with Matt Edmondson for a brand new look Xtra Factor LIVE show on ITV2.
Also making a welcome comeback for this year’s series are the intimate room auditions where aspiring stars will find themselves face-to-face in front of the judges in a very personal setting.
For the first time since 2008, there are no arena auditions at all this year: If contestants impress the judges in the audition room, they stand the chance of securing a place in the next stage of the competition at Bootcamp.
Artists discovered by The X Factor have sold more than 200 million records worldwide, including 200 No. 1s, making it the most successful show in history for finding chart superstars.
This includes One Direction, who have sold 70 million records worldwide; Olly Murs who has achieved success with four multi- platinum albums and approximately 20 million single sales, and Little Mix who have sold 15 million records globally.
